June Callwood is maybe Canada's greatest woman.

As I understand it for her kindness was the closest act to Godliness.

Her example were  the doors at the Mall; whether the person in front held the door open or let it close in someone's face. We have judged a society by the doors at the Mall for 30 years. It used to be London, England; 20 out of 20 holding the door open; Toronto 17 of 20; Tampa, Florida, 3 of 20. The score today is London, 20 of 20; Toronto, 0 of 20; Tampa, 3 of 20. Sad situation.

Virginia Tech

With 32 dead and 17 wounded one would think there had been a battle.

But no, it was just another day on a U.S. college campus. For some reason or other Americans are born with a compelling urge to eat , drink, and carry a gun.

OHIP --a diaaster.

Recently, we were playing golf, indoors, and the knee gave out. We went to the nearest Toronto hospital; emergency section. Under very uncomfortable conditions we waited 8 hours and 15 minutes to see a Doctor. This is simply unacceptable.

the Leafs

Played really well in the last 10 games and might have gone a long way in the playoffs. The hockey Gods were against us.

Harper

Just don't understand it. Harper is letting the income trusts be destroyed; it should have been; no new trusts.

Why are we we encouraging our young men and women to get in harms way and die to save a muslim country. We should have no combat troops in  Afganastan ! How can I vote for Harper again ?
