We have had the bank stocks as undervalued for the past 4 years at least.
The returns have been excellent.
Remember that if the dividend goes up 10% so does the stock; everything else being equal.

I agree with the bank stocks and many of them increase even more than that! You can check it out for yourself at the only dedicated canadian dividend data source i could find
